**March and Rally against New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez’ anti-immigrant policy**
El Paso, TX-Southern New Mexico- The Border Network for Human Rights, a human rights organization based in El Paso and with representation in Southern New Mexico, is organizing a march and rally in Las Cruces N.M. tomorrow Thursday February 10th, to show our disappointment on New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez ‘ordinance, requiring state troopers to inquire about the immigration status of everyone detained, among other anti-immigrant policies.
As part of this rally about 3000 post-cards addressed to the Governor will be displayed, asking her to find a common sense solution to the immigration issue, and to avoid the economic losses that Arizona has endured due to the harsh policies against immigrants.
Border Network for Human Rights will also present testimonies of U.S. Citizens that would be damaged with the governor’s policy of denying and revoking driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants.
