Families to Walk in Support of Lawsuits Challenging SB 4
On the third #JusticeMondays BNHR Continues to denounce SB 4
El Paso, TX /Southern New Mexico- On Monday, May 22nd at Noon, members of the Border Network for Human Rights will march from the State office building (401 E. Franklin Ave.), to the El Paso County Courthouse (500 E. San Antonio), to support County Commissioners in their endeavor of filing a lawsuit against SB 4.
Later, at 6pm that evening, Border Network for Human Rights, along with Univision, will host a Community Forum on SB 4. This forum will feature elected officials and allies, to inform members of the community about the new law, and the actions local government, students, and allies are taking to stop this hateful, unconstitutional, racist law.
