On October 6, 2020, BNHR held a digital Martes de Justicia peaceful protest calling for accountability from the El Paso Police Department (EPPD). Watch below for a gallery of videos from EPPD Accountability Task Force co-chairs and some of its members explaining why they support the demand for accountability and immediate changes to the local police.
Through the Martes de Justicia action series, a coalition of diverse local organizations, advocates, and community members has brought attention to the culture of impunity within the EPPD, which has flourished under the leadership of Police Chief Greg Allen.
