COVID-19 Economic Emergency Fund: From People to People

COVID-19 ECONOMIC EMERGENCY FUND:

FROM PEOPLE TO PEOPLE

Fondo de Emergencia Económica Covid-19:

Del Pueblo para el Pueblo

The COVID-19 Economic Emergency Fund: From People to People was established to help support the thousands of essential workers and their families left out of the federal financial assistance efforts established in response to COVID-19 because of their immigration status or other extenuating circumstances.

Now more than ever these underserved communities have shown just how vital they are to our country’s economy and deserve to be acknowledged for the work they are doing and included in the relief efforts regardless of their status. This fund was established for all: the undocumented, the single parent, the farmworker, and the elderly.

Amidst tremulous times, we are comforted by knowing that a once-divided country is now brought together in the face of this pandemic. This virus has magnified how together, we can overcome even the greatest of adversities by supporting one another.

As members of the one community, we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the fight for justice. This pandemic has only amplified the same inequities and needs that existed prior. Your contribution to the COVID-19 Economic Emergency Fund will be distributed right back into your community, giving access to much-needed resources while we continue to demand our government act equitably for all.

Thank you for standing with us in this time of need as we act as one people for the people.
