Austin Convention February 2010

More than 700 Texans, including about 80 BNHR members from El Paso and Southern New Mexico, gathered at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin February 20 for the Texas Convention for Immigrant Integration, “A Call for Reform.” Participants heard from speakers representing the religious, business, law enforcement, non-profit and political sectors about the need for comprehensive immigration reform. The convention was organized by RITA (Reform Immigration for Texas Alliance), a group founded by the BNHR.
